Wissmach - Cathedral

Like a crystal clear Bermuda lagoon on a sunny day.

This glass is a very pale, delicate pink champagne color. It would make a lovely backround for a floral stained glass panel, when you want something more interesting than colorless glass, but don't want to detract from your floral design.

The Florentine "starburst" pattern and the lilac hue give this glass a unique and delightful sparkle.

Resembles very old glass that you might find in some long forgotten corner of a church or barn. Just a hint of amber.

We think this color is similar to an old Coke bottle. (Are you old enough to remember them, back before everything went plastic?) Or maybe it's more like an old clear glass insulator that's been in the sun for a hundred years and has turned the slightest shade of blue.

This glass might be a good choice for a pond, touched by a breeze, under slightly overcast afternoon sky; or perhaps the palest autumn leaf, wet with rain.

This the color of very pale sea glass, or maybe that of an old glass apothecary bottle that has been sitting in the sun since the late 1800s -- a bottle that would have been made from sand that contained iron (the source of the aquamarine hue in old bottles).

Pour some concord grape juice into a bowl and set it on a table. Watch the surface of the juice as you drum the 1963 Surfaris instrumental hit "Wipeout!" on the table. Voila! Wissmach Dark Wine Ripple!
